When to install car seat?

I’m 32 weeks and I’m tired of looking at the box.... I’ve had it for over 2 months.

I’m not installing mine until very last minute because if for some reason you get into a wreck then you would have to get a whole new car seat!

We installed ours while at the hospital with our first and plan to do the same this time.

30 weeks and just installed ours. I’m having twins, though, and it’s possible they could come earlier.

Well if you are looking for permission, we just installed ours at 32 weeks :) figures it gives us time to stop by a fire station to get it checked when convenient and if I go I to labor early we’re ready and I was sick of looking at it in the house. So yeah you do you...we just plan to check it again right before baby comes to make sure nothing has shifted.

30 weeks with baby #2 and this week I installed our carseat. I figured it's time to get my son used to the changes coming. Plus I'm nesting and want everything in place.

No need to install it yet. For my first, I did become familiar with it and fitting it like 2 weeks before my due date.  3 years later and my second coming along soon I'm still the only one that knows how to install the car seats 🤨 I guess in a way it's good. My babies don't go anywhere with my in laws unless I'm around hahahha
