✨Birth Story✨
When they say no two births are alike it was my third that really made me believe that things can and will not go as planned. I started feeling contractions at 5 a.m. last Thursday morning. I decided to labor at home and not go to go to the hospital until they got stronger. We left to the hospital at 8 a.m. and arrived around 8:30 a.m. By the time I checked into the triage it was around 8:45 a.m. At this point my contractions were very intense. Shortly after the nurse checked me and asked me what I wanted for pain, I said the epideral. Well it was too late I couldn’t get it. I was already at a 10, complete and ready to push. I was not mentally nor physically prepared for a natural birth. My first and second labor/deliveries were very similar and I had epiderals. I started pushing at 9 a.m. and baby girl came out at 9:14 a.m. If I would’ve waited any longer she could’ve been born in the car. This labor and delivery was the most painful yet rewarding thing I have ever experienced. Natural birth was not what I imagined it would be, it really wasn’t that bad. Feeling everything really makes you appreciate being a woman and the strength and power of what your body can do to bring a baby into this world. 👶🏻💖💪🏼
