Ultrasound at 4 weeks?

Question

I just got a positive test on friday(8th).
As i called one of the OB/GYN for the appointment, the nurse told me to come today.
Now when i ask about what check ups will be done today, she said we will do both (abdominal& transvaginal) ultrasounds & if needed a blood work too.
I was so confused about the ultrasounds as its way too early?
Please help what should i do?

This was our ultrasound last week at 5wks and 4 days. You could only see the yolk sac. We have to go back on Wednesday to get a more accurate due date and to hear/see the flickering heartbeat.

I’d I had to guess I’d say it was a miscommunication and they’ll probably just be doing a pregnancy test.
