Peri colace??

My doctor suggested I take peri colace since I’m so constipated however I have read not to take stimulants. I know she’s a doctor but still it concerns me. Is this safe or should I avoid it?

I took it on and off my whole pregnancy with my son and all was well.

Miralax and metamucil are good alternatives. Caffiene and other mild stimulants will help you poop though.

Miralax or senna would be safer in my opinion if you're trying to avoid stimulants. (I'm an RN)

Miralax has been my life saver. It doesn’t stimulate your bowel like Ex-Lax and won’t give you that “gurgle” and the runs. I take it about every 2-3 days to keep things moving and it helps big time. Hope you get some relief soon.

Not sure of that kind but I'm taking healthy mama stool softener from Walmart. Doc said it was ok and man does it make a world of difference.

You can try restoralax too. I was offered that because of constipation and it’s totally safe
