I am do in love with my little man!

I had a C-section. The initial plan was to go natural but the week before he was born (I was at 37 weeks) I got a fever and landed in hospital for 4 days due to an UTI. When examined the estimated baby's birth weight at 3.5KG and that was too big to go natural so my Dr and I decided to go for the C-section.

It was planned and everything went smoothly, the spinal was painless and the actual procedure was much quicker than expected. I'd say the most unexpected aspect was the pressure they applied just before they pulled him out after the cut. I didn't know about that one.

I was up and about 6 hours after the operation and I took care of my little man from that evening onwards.
