Ladies,

I went off my BC on Feb 2. Had a “period” which I figure was a withdraw from the birth control. It went away like normal but then AF came again on Feb 26th. It was steady for about 5 days but then turned into spotting which was consistent, light flow but dark brown what I would call “pre or post AF bleeding”. This hasn’t stopped since and then today BAM! AF is back again full force bleeding and other side effects. I’m sure this is probably my body trying to regulate itself just looking to see if anybody else has gone through this getting off of BC. I was on the Nuva Ring for the last 3 years was on the pill for the 5 prior. I’m undiagnosed endometriosis. My doctor told me to schedule a laparoscopy when we decided we were ready to try for kids but we decided just to try without it. This is so painful!

Any shared experiences with the crazy bleeding or laparoscopy are appreciated!
