My doctor and I had a long talk about how I am crying every night, I am feeling overwhelming sadness ect after my miscarriage. I have previous issues with depression and anxiety but got off all meds to try and concieve.

She suggested we take a small dose of zoloft which is apparently ok to take during pregnancy anyway. She also gave me a script for Xanex for extreme emergencies and panic, and warned that cannot be used after I am pregnant.

The plan is to take the zoloft until I am pregnant again. Then transition off of it to see how I do. If I feel OK then have a zoloft free pregnancy. If I dont, we evaluate our options.

Does anyone have any experience? Her feeling is I have to live my life, and I cant live in depression for months waiting for a positive. I have to agree but I am so nervous about drugs while pregnant. When i googled it, it was mostly alternative websites talking about the evil of drugs ect. Looking for advice here, did you or someone you know try it? Did it impact your fertility? Increase chance of miscarriage?

I dont think I can handle a second miscarriage, it will break me and I dont know if I would be strong enough to try a third time.
