Belly button bar to small?!?

Question

So I just got my belly button done with a professional piercer and I can't move it and it's super sore I just don't want it not to heal if it's to small so help please? Can I change it out to a longer bar? Or can I leave it in to heal? I got it done Saturday

Mine did this when I first got it pierced. Do NOT take it out, it’s just a little swollen because it was just done! It’s completely normal. Just keep it clean, and push the bar up and down when cleaning it as much as you can. It will heal soon! I’ve had mine done for 6 years, and haven’t had a problem with it since it healed!!! ☺️

I agree with Alana. Another thing to do is ice it for 5ish minutes before you clean it, and it will take some of the discomfort away.

I had mine done about a month ago and i had the same issue. I let my piercer know and took her advice to keep cleaning it and avoid irritation. It kept embedding into my skin making the piercing bigger so i let her know again. She changed the bar to a longer one and its healing just fine. It might sound scary but it takes a-lot of time and patience. Dont be scared to contact your piercer and ask questions!! Stay on top of it and make sure its in the best condition for healing!
