Furniture Redo Ideas?

Okay guys, I have this corner cabinet/entertainment stand that I’m not sure what to do with. It was given to my fiancé when a customer bought something new. The original plan was a diaper changing table but, I decided on buying an actual one.

Yesterday, I had the idea of putting it in this odd corner of our kitchen/dining area. This corner (as you’ll see in the photo) is always a mess. The dogs eat right there and it collects dog hair and food like crazy! I swear, there’s a dog hair magnet over there. It’s also got this odd silver stand that’s just piled with random crap no one ever touches and the stand is falling apart.

The thing is, I have too many ideas for its use and would like some help picking something. Should it be:

-A coffee bar (risk of coffee being spilt, still have to walk over to the fridge to get milk, etc. but would free up counter space by the stove)

-A dog/cat food station (currently being stored in the storage closet next to the corner)

-A mail/keys/scheduling center thing like you’d see on Pinterest. (All of the above is chaos and things tend to land on the dinner table, maybe this would help)

-Any other ideas you may have!

Also, I wasn’t sure what to paint it. I could leave it how it is, but I enjoy fixing up furniture. Our kitchen is white with wood trim and cabinets, but light green counters and backsplash. (It’s a rental) The dinner table is also wood.

Here are photos of the furniture and corner. Please excuse the mess, I live with 2 men, 2 dogs, their 7 pups (waiting to go to their homes), and a cat. Things get messy, fast and I’ve had trouble keeping up while pregnant.
