I started my patch (Xulane) on Monday, March 4th. I waited the whole week (7 days) of not having unprotected sex. I had no sex at all. I changed my patch the 11th (following Monday) and I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend today, March 12th. During the first week my patch was kinda not sticky on the edges and it seemed like there was water getting underneath the patch, but it stayed on the whole week. I kept pressing it down so it can stay on. But now I just noticed I got a clear, elastic discharge which seemed like ovulation discharge so I am scared that the patch didn’t work and I ovulated anyways. Was this discharge normal from the patch? Will I get pregnant even though the patch stayed on and I didn’t have sex until a day after the second patch?
