So my mother in law has never liked any of her 3 son's girlfriends for the 5 years I've been with my boyfriend .a couple days ago I brought up a point to my boyfriend that me him and his mother should all sit down and have a talk about our new we will have in a couple of months and we do plan on having a family soon. and how we would like her involved. But she isnt really a good grandmother to my niece and nephew. My bf gave her an ultimatum that if she can't change her childish ways and step up as a grandmother and mother that we wouldn't want her involved in our lives let alone our kids. . Last thing I want is to keep him from his mother and I encourage a relationship with him and his mother but the conversation started out OK and then the mother ended up playing the victim the whole time which ended up with my boyfriend being stressed out and saying that the conversation wasn't going anywhere so I ended up getting up and walking away and I feel bad because all I wanted was to try and fix things . How should I feel?
