When to test after MC?

So I miscarried naturally at 5wks in February. Our plan was to wait until after my next period, per dr recommendations. I was not tracking ovulation, but it was super obvious when I was based on cervical fluid. We have only had sex 1x since my MC, and it was during this... we used protection but the condom came off during sex. According to glow, my period should come next week. I know this sounds insane, but I feel pregnant again. My husband thinks I’m crazy. I really did not want to try so soon out of fear of miscarrying again....but obliviously a birth control mistake happened so it’s possible. Should I wait until when glow says my period would be to test? Or base DPO off the 1x we had sex? Today would be 12 days after we had sex... the day of my supposed period start date would be 17 days post sex. I’m also terrified of getting a false positive. Sorry this was so long, I wasn’t mentally preparing for “trying” so soon... and feel pretty frazzled.
