I feel so bad! Has something like this happened to you?

We just got back from a walk with our two kids and I needed to ask my neighbor a question so I called her. While we were getting the kids unloaded in the garage I looked at my husband and pointed to our toddler who is 2 and nodded like “you got her?” Because he also had the baby and was going into the house from the garage. So I went to the front door to get a package while I was still on the phone and I went inside. I turned around and saw our toddler at the front door 😱 she had followed me and I didn’t know. My husband walked in 2 seconds later and I said “I thought you had her?!” And he said “I thought you did. I watched her follow you” thank god she was fine and our door is like 10 feet from the garage but I felt so bad! I learned my lesson to always verbally confirm with the husband and try not to be on the phone unless necessary. My question could have waited until we got inside. Has anything like this happened to you? I feel so guilty and need some reassurance 😩
