My period is now 8days late today I have light spotting can this be implantation bleeding ?

If you’re already 8 days late, then no, what you’re experiencing now wouldn’t be due to implantation. For starters, implantation happens before your next expected period, not afterwards. Once the Blastocyst implants, this is what causes you to miss your upcoming period and of course those that are supposed to follow, since we no longer menstruate during pregnancy.

Are you sure you are 8 days late? If so that’s not from implantation. Have you taken a pregnancy test? Sometimes a little spotting can happen when you’re pregnant, but it’s usually from the sudden and drastic changes in hormone levels or it could be the start of your period. Sorry if it is 😕

It's more than likely the start of AF but you could have ovulated very late this cycle and then it could be implantation bleeding. I suggest waiting until tomorrow morning and if AF hasn't arrived then testing FMU. Good luck! 🤞

If you have, i think spotting is normal...

I see you had a negative blood test a few days ago. Those are usually more sensitive at detecting pregnancy, so most likely you’re not pregnant, especially if it was done after you missed your period. Do you have regular periods? Did you take another preg.test? I’m sorry but sounds like a late period to me 🤷🏼‍♀️
