Being pregnant, by design, does lower your immune system. But it depends how strong your immune system was *before* pregnancy. I haven’t had any issues

I literally flew half way across the world without a flu shot and I’m fine. So I honestly don’t see it.

It’s weird, I usually have a HORRIBLE immune system. Sick every winter since I was a baby. Some how I haven’t gotten sick at all, even with teaching in an elementary school where my whole grade had it. I’m happy!!

I get the flu just about every year and normally the cold two or three times in the winter bc I work with kids. Since I got pregnant in November I’ve had nothing. My husband even had the flu 2 weeks ago and I didn’t catch it😂 I do have horrible allergies though and they have not gone away (some pregnant women say they do)

I'm only 12 weeks pregnant, and so far I've already had a sickness virus, a few colds and a bladder infection... before I fell pregnant I was NEVER sick... 😂🤷‍♀️

Yes I got super sick when I first found out at 5 weeks and a month ago I caught a minor cold that spread to my chest. I took antibiotics and I still have a cough. I have a history of asthma & chronic bronchitis so I think being pregnant is making it worse.

I have been sick 4 times since getting pregnant in September. Currently I think my body is trying to go for a fifth time. I do teach in an elementary school though (aka germ factory). I used to only get a cold twice a year 😩😩😩

I’m normally the type of person who gets sick once a year. But I’ve been sick 3 times in the last 6 months. I definitely believed our bodies have a weaken immune system during pregnancy. All 3 times were a sinus infection with one being a combo or sinus infection and lung congestion.

I usually have a great immune system but it sucks when pregnant between the first and second trimester i was sick 6 times.
