How many weeks after your baby did you go back to work?

When did your doctor say it’s ok to go back to work after having a c section? I am also thinking about going back part time to spend more time with my baby. What are other moms thoughts and opinions.

I have to go back part time at 7.5 weeks and full time at 12 weeks 😭 I am a teacher and we got pregnant way before I wanted to so I didn’t have the leave take off the rest of the school year.

My Dr didn’t say anything other than “you are crazy” when I told her I was only taking 4 weeks off after baby. So I go back next week and I’m not ready at all, but my clients won’t wait forever.

8 weeks is standard for a c section, 6 for vaginal. Minimum time off from work that is. I’m taking my full 12 weeks!
