When can I take a bath

It will be a month tmrw that I had my baby girl I had sitches from birth I was wondering by if it's okay for me to take a bath  or if I do if it will cause an infection or something

I had a second degree tare and all my nurses told me to bath. I used Epsom salt and Lavender oil in my bath and it helped me heal and I felt so much better. :)

I would wait until your postpartum check up just to be safe since you had stitches.

Oh dear I had a second degree tear and took a bath probably after 3 weeks and have been taking them regularly 🙃 I didn’t even think of it being a concern oops!

my doc and nurses told me I could take a bath anytime and I had a tear and stitches. enjoy it!
