Too much folic acid?!?


Hey all,

I have been reading a lot on folic acid and prenatels etc.

I don’t go to the doctor for another week and half so I need some input.

My prenatal States it has 800mcg of folic acid. How much is too much? I have also been trying to eat well and with healthy foods I’ll be taking on more folic acid and other vitamins naturally. Should I be concerned about my intake?!? Articles have said too much folic acid can actually increase the risk of birth defects.

Any advice?
