Weight loss help

This picture is extremely embarrassing, but I just started working out this week and I’m ready to make some positive changes. I’m 25 years old, 5”5, and 165lbs. I’m hoping to lose about 20-25 lbs. My main focus is (obviously) my stomach area. I’ve been about 45 minutes on the elliptical, and I’m going to try getting to the gym 4-5 days a week. For someone like me, do you think that is enough time to spend on cardio or should I extend the time? I’m going to start getting into weights next week (I have gym anxiety so I am trying to ease myself into it), and of course better my eating habits. Any advice is appreciated.
