I work full time and my boyfriend stays home with our 2 sons. My mom comes over everyday from the time I leave for work until the time I get home to watch our 3 month old while my boyfriend watches our 18 month old. What do you think are realistic expectations for him to get things done around the house ie. Dishes washed, countertops cleared, living room picked up, perhaps starting dinner. I get home and the house is a disaster and I have to clean up everything all while doing baths, nursing, pumping and doing the bedtime routine(although he helps with this part). I'm a bit frustrated and stressed every night because I feel like he could be doing more to contribute to the household while I am at work 9-5. What do other stay at home parents do to contribute while the other parent is at work?
