Sore on mouth?

Ignore the rest I’ve always had acne this area. Now I have this sore in the corner of my mouth that hurts. It isn’t like a cold sore. So don’t know what is can’t treat. I got thrush and not long after it appeared. Worse on this side than the other.

When I was on accutane the corners of my mouth cracked like that. My dermatologist told me to put a small amount of hydrocortisone cream on it. Sounds strange but it does help

I literally have this right now. I just started getting it, starts out with super dry chapped lips, (despite the fact thst i use chapstick like nonstop) then the dryness causes cracks in the corners. I believe mine comes from eczema. I've been using hydrogen peroxide in the corners, just dab a q tip on it and let it fizz a few times, it helps keep any infection out and makes it easier, less painful to deal with. Just keep the area clean, vaseline will add necessary moisture and provide a barrier between it and saliva (some have it because of that) but def try  the peroxide thing! It does help!! I sometimes get something that looks like this when I’m run down. It’s called Angular Cheilitis and it’s not harmful or contagious. I’ve been getting it since I was a teenager. Just keep it as dry as possible. Sometimes putting Vaseline or Carmex on can help as it forms a barrier for it.

If my lips are SUPER chapped, the corners of my mouth like crack open and get red and swollen. Just put some Carmex on it and it will heal. All is good though!
