Irritated bartholin cyst

So this is the 4th bartholin cyst I’ve had in 4 years, typically they just lance it and insert a word catheter and send me home but that isn’t working. So today I’m getting the marsupialization procedure done and I’m 100% ready.

The only problem that’s different than all the other times is there is severe irritation around the bartholin cyst. It’s as if the skin got really dry or something, but it’s hurts unbelievably so. What would be a good thing to put on that area that wouldn’t be harmful?
