Still a chance...?

My husband and I are trying after losing our son, Watson, in July. I tested 14DPO and got a negative. My period is now 2 days late. This morning, I’m experiencing mild cramping on the right side, and my breasts have been tender on/off for a few days.

Sound like AF is coming or did I maybe test too early? DPO was calculated by opk. Should I test again? Today would be 16DPO. I cried over the negative result Tuesday, so idk if I’m holding on to hope or what....
