Prenatal vitamins?

Is there any best brand of prenatal vitamins or are they all the same ?

I would say they're mostly the same but would recommend against gummy vitamins because they don't tend to have iron.

I think it is mostly personal preference. Some will make you feel sick, others won’t. Some taste worse. I prefer to take one with plant based DHA. I also take an additional 4mg of folic acid, due to my epilepsy medication. Just try some out. I really like the Walgreens brand kind. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don't know, however my Midwife told me they are all the same.i get a prescription so I don't know what brand it is but it does have dha.

Theyre mostly the same except gummy ones. Gummies are not as complete and pills or softgels.

Just look for folate and DHA I have always taken the gummies. I wouldn’t start an iron supplement unless your doctor tells you too. I have NEVER needed iron during my pregnancy and I’m 35+2

They’re definitely not all the same. The best kind have folate instead of folic acid because it’s more easily absorbed. Also look for a food based prenatal to be easier on your tummy. Some have DHA in them, while others don’t. I prefer to take a fish oil supplement separately for my DHA/Omegas because I like to know what the DHA source is. My favorites are Megafood baby and me 2, Garden of Life raw prenatals, Rainbow Light, and Ritual.
