Hey everyone! I was hoping someone here might have some knowledge on my moms situation, as the doctors are very absent and aren’t giving us much information. Quick background- I found my mom in status epilepticus, which put her in a coma for three days. Come to find out it’s because she had a giant brain tumour. Only some of it was able to be removed, but since the surgery she has had even more seizures. Three days ago she had 6, and one of them she wasn’t waking up from so the paramedics had to come and sedate her and take her to emergency. Since that happened she hasn’t been able to speak or spell very well. Her words are all gibberish, and slurred, and her spelling is mixed up. I was wondering if anyone has had speech problems days later from a string of seizures? I’m worried this could be a stroke or something else. I’m begging the doctors for help, but they don’t seem to care.
