Did your IUD make your partner not want sex?

When you first had your IUD placed did it make your partner not want sex for awhile? Also comment if they didn’t want to have sex how long did it take for them to come around again?

It didnt affect my partner desire to have sex lol but he said he could definitely feel the strings at first and they they hurt him sometimes. But he didnt let that keep him from sex 🙄😂. 
I just went in and had the strings trimmed and then it didnt bother him at all

Mine stabbed him and me lol ended up in the ER. Never again 😂 he doesn’t mind the Nuvaring

If they cut the string too short it pokes him, but if they’re smart and cut it long it will wrap around your cervix. My husband is not small and has never felt it.

Unless the string was too long and poking him...
