Has anyone ever had an nonpregnancy related surgery after delivery?
I had an endoscopy and ulcers were found in my esophagus. The doctor says that the sphincter of my esophagus is just hanging open, and that's why I'm experiencing chronic heartburn/GERD, so I'll need to have surgery to correct it. Now, I'm thinking that I can knock out 2 birds with one stone if i have surgery while out on maternity leave. I wonder how it may affect breastfeeding and how safe anesthesia can be afterwards.
