My sons too smart for his own good. Tips? 🤦

My son has already figured out the $60 gate we JUST bought. Is there any additional child lock we could out on itor diy ideas?? Please help 🤦😩 (ps, it looks dirty because we've had duct tape over it but he figured out how to pull it off 😂)

My son is almost 2 and we spent a lot on a big gate for him and he’s learned how to open the door too! We zip tie it and just step over it, and keep scissors and extra zip ties on the other side of the gate in case we need to use the door or have company that can’t step over it. Some kids are just too smart for their own good 😂

Maybe zip tie it shut and you and your husband can just step over the gate? Usually they are short enough for adults to climb over. They also sell cabinet lock gates with a button you push on both side and pull down to take it off in case you dont want to step over it.

How old is your son? If he can already open that gate then maybe just take it down? Then again it depends what you’re using it for...
