Hi I'm just looking for advice really. Is threatening and being verbally horrible to children classed as harassment? As in two women threatening two children with police and warning them not to to places?

Quick reason why I'm asking.

As I've put on here before I've has trouble with my partners ex going on two years now. Which majority has been reported to the police on many occasions. But yesterday the same woman and her friend stopped outside my house and shouted nasty things about me, only for me to realise that my two oldest boys were outside at the time. My oldest boy quickly took defence and told the woman politely not to call me this (dick head) mind he is 9 years old. Then as they were walking to the park the two woman laughed at my children before saying if i see you on this street I'm going to call the police. In turn laughed more at my two boys. I have called the police but I'm just wondering could i actually get these two woman done now for harassment to me and my family? Note my boys only went to call for a friend on this woman's street and then shouted at my boys stop following us. Even though my two boys and their friend were going to the park. I've had to deal with this for nearing two years and now they feel the need to start doing this to my children. advice or facts would be grateful. Thank you
