Mini Pill Experiences?

I had my 6wk pp appt yesterday and talked to the OB about birth control options. I was on the pill before that had the placebo pills so you got your period every 28 days, but due to the estrogen in them I got mensural migraines so I didn’t want to be on that kind anymore. My OB recommended the mini pill which I’d take all of the time so period would come whenever. I’m a little nervous to take it because you have to be super strict with it. I didn’t want the iud (had it before and didn’t work out) and idk about the implant.. maybe if the mini pill doesn’t work out I’ll do that. What’s everyone’s experiences with the mini pill? Or the implant?
