I showed my fiancé this and he made a good point.. the guy will always treat you better if you’re treating them good . He asked why is it always the guys that have to take a look at their relationship and change it, it should be both of them. I actually see where he’s coming from, what about you?

Ehhhh... I feel like this is a slippery slope. Leaves it open to emotionally abusive partners to say something like "I wouldn't act this way if you didn't do x". Two mature adults in a relationship should have a mutual respect for one another which typically will bring out the best in each other. If my husband is acting in a way that I don't like I do first ask myself what I could do better but then I talk to him about it. I don't put it on myself that it has to be the way I'm treating him.

Its all about partnership.. everyone has flaws but if one partner is acting like a dick.. can u really blame the other person.. not really.. it depends on situations and circumstances.. u can try to be there for ur partner but it's also good to give them space.
