Newborn Girl Knit Ideas...?

My daughter is due first week of May and I want to make her a few things but it’s like pregnancy brain has consumed me and I can’t think of what to make her.
I’m in the UK so it probably won’t be hot...not hot enough to prevent a newborn wearing knits anyway lol
What to make? 🤔

I found some free patterns on Ravelry that I’m trying out. 👌🏼 I’m currently making a matinee top for my second daughter who is due June 4th.

Check garnstudio.com they have a lot of nice patterns. As for yarn, cotton-merino or silk-merino is great. Merinowool is also great, wool regulate heat, don’t get sweaty and if it gets wet it doesn’t make baby cold, and is super all year around. Acrylic/polyester yarn tends to make you sweaty, will get cold if wet, and if by any chance it gets close to fire it will smelt/burn.
