We’ve been married for 3 years and I was never curious about what my husband might be hiding in his phone because I knew his password anyway and it just never crossed my mind to look at his phone before.

However, a few months ago I peeked at my his phone while he was chatting with someone I did not recognize.

1. He had the number saved in his contacts with a weird title which was not an actual name.

2. It looks like the conversation was new, or as I like to think he might’ve had to delete it several times before.

3. When he noticed I was looking at his phone he immediately switched to his friends’ group.

4. I got up to make tea and he immediately changed his position on the sofa to where I wouldn’t be able to sit next to him anymore.

Now again, I’ve always trusted my husband and never thought he might be cheating until this happened. So I started being paranoid because at that time I was already a few months pregnant and confronting him didn’t not sound good in my mind, so I kept investigating.

Reminder: I know his password. In fact we both share the same password.

So I decided that whenever he leaves his phone unattended (which he always did that before) I’ll search for the weird title I read (and saved so I wont forget) and I’ll make sure its a girl before I decide on anything.

Days passed by, weeks passed by, months passed by, and now I’m going crazy. I realized he does not leave his phone unattended anymore. He would even sleep with his phone under his pillow, which I found very weird because he never did that before.

Soooo, I decided to just let it go.

But then a few days later, I asked him to order me food, and a few minutes later he gets a call from a random number and he thought it was the restaurant, so he picks up and puts it on speaker. And to our surprise it sounded like a young woman. He quickly put his earphones on and acted like he did not hear her, which I thought was very funny and I was biting my lip hard so I won’t laugh out loud because it was the stupidest thing I’ve seen him do

At this point I was pretty sure he recognized her voice and he knew he made a bad decision when he put her on speaker.

Even though what I’ve encountered was funny, it hurt me later on when I kept thinking..

Does he care about her? Does he think of her often? Is it the same person he’s been chatting with? Or Are there more girls that I haven’t discovered?

It hurts even more to think about our future. Will my baby be happy? Will my baby feel that there’s a disconnection between mom and dad? How long will we be a family? How long will we live under one roof?

I do not know what to think, I do not even know what to believe. He has always been good to me. I never felt anything different, I thought he loved me no matter what.

Let me admit, I have been really harsh on him during my pregnancy. I try to act normal but I couldn’t. Pregnancy is making me really moody and this has pushed him away from me. I do not even remember when was the last time that we kissed. I’m pretty sure he does not feel loved anymore, because I feel like I’ve become a very dull and a very tired person.

A few days pass by.. We go out on a date (kinda). It was a huge performance that we attended together in hopes to do something different for a change or to just try to connect again.

During the performance, I found that he was a bit distracted with his phone. So I took a peek, again. And I see the same thing, again. Except this time, the title has changed, still something weird, still looked like a new conversation.. and again, I don’t recognize the person. (Fyi, I know all his friends, I even know all his close colleagues, and its not someone I recognize.)

I couldn’t enjoy what was one of the biggest performances in our country, and I kept thinking what was the right thing to do.

The next morning, I woke up looking for his phone but I couldn’t find it.

it was under his pillow again.
