Reuben or Ruben?

So my husband and I have finally picked a boys name (33w & gender is a surprise🥰)

We are so in love with the name Rueben/Ruben but I’m so undecided on how we should spell it!

I know that Reuben is the traditional way, and the correct way of spelling and older gens will know how it’s spelt, but the younger gens know it as Ruben and I don’t want him to have to repeat the spelling every time.

Or are we just setting him up for a life of spelling out his name?

Any thoughts or advice?

Ps. We live in Melbourne Australia so the name isn’t all that common here either.
