Suggestions..what should I eat before being induced tomorrow morning?

I have heard to eat before labor. Carbs. Something you don’t think would upset your stomach. But also know that some women vomit during labor so keep that in mind. I plan to eat before I go to the hospital when that time comes as I’ve heard carbs can help give you more energy for that time.

I knew I wouldn’t be eating for a while (at least 24 hours) so I ate everything in sight. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I even had Thai food so my after birth BM was easy.

Wondering the same, I go in Monday. Doctor said don’t eat anything I don’t mind throwing up, but I mind throwing up everything LoL

I had a half bagel with peanut butter and once I got to the hospital I ordered French toast. I was eating up until things got painful and it really helped me feel less exhausted.

Maybe banana & oatmeal ?? I’d definitely eat something with fiber (the first poop after birth hurts lol)

The day before my induction I hardly ate. My dinner was chocolate chip cookies and milk. That morning (I went in at 8am) I had half a cup of coffee. My last induction I had Chinese food I was eating it when I got the call they finally had a bed. However they were not my first children and once they started medicines my labors progressed quickly. One was about 12 hours the other 8. I sent my husband out right away to get me food after though. They gave me jello in the middle of my third child (first induction) and I wound up puking it up right before I had to push. I swore I'd never have anything other than ice/water while in labor in the future.

My midwife said they want me to eat... they won’t be starving me which I’m so happy about because I would be the worst bitch ever 😂.
