I have 12 weeks paid leave and don't plan on taking anything unpaid. Daycare is already in the budget. We didn't save anything extra, i guess I didn't really feel the need to go above and beyond. But that might just be our situation

My husband and I had a goal to save 60k before we tried to conceive. Well, we ended up pregnant instantly. Somehow we managed to put away 50k anyways. We have been working really hard!! Cancelled our vacations and had more fun at home etc.
