Cytotec?

Has anyone heard of this to incur labor? 
I just had my cervix checked at 38 weeks, baby is in position, “ready to go at any moment” and suggested he could administer this hormone to produce oxytocin. 
I elected to wait a few days to see what happens. Baby is healthy, and so am I....

Good call on waiting. At 38 weeks, sounds like your body is doing just fine!

Yep, I had cytotec to induce labor last week. Had two doses administered vaginally, and then a third dose orally. That really kicked off labor and had baby several hours later

Yes it’s a pill you take , that was one way they tried to induced my labor but it didn’t work

Yes I just had it when I was induced at 39 weeks. I went in only a fingertip dilated and 25% effaced. I took one oral dose of cytotec and 4 hours later I was 2cm. I took one more dose and it got me to 3 cm and my water broke. at and at that point we started pitocin.
