Bald spot on baby’s head/bump?

What’s going on here?

I know they get bald spots from losing hair and rubbing on their mattress, but it kind of looks like a bump too???? Maybe it’s also her soft spot? I’m confused

Mines looks exactly like that. She’s 6 months and it’s still kinda like that. It freaked me out but dr said it’s normal

That doesnt look like a soft spot to me it looks like a bump I would maybe ask your dr just in case

Can you feel a bump there? The bald spot is normal, but I would have the pediatrician look at the bump.

My son had lovely long thick black hair when he was a newborn, then he ended up looking like a little old man because he lost most of it, he had a bald spot at the back, but kept his hair right at the bottom 😂 it's completely normal. It'll grow back. It takes every baby a different amount of time so don't worry about that. My son's hair is growing back. When your baby is lying down flat try rotating your babies head so they aren't lying on one spot for a long amount of time. I never had to with my son as he used to always move his head anyway.

My 7wk old has this as well. I hope it grows back soon because with her dark hair it looks like a bowl cut then a mullet at the base 😂

Soft spot is at the front  top of the head . But it can be pretty common to have that bald spot in the back . My son lost his in the front 😂
