Just had my baby on Tuesday. We got home from the hospital Thursday. My in-laws live out of town so they came to stay with us Friday.

I had to have a c section because baby was breech so I’m sleeping (trying at least) in the living room and feel like shit.

Baby is feeding every 2-3 hours and I have to carry her up to her nursery to get any privacy. She seems to nurse better when we do skin to skin.

I just want them to leave and I feel like such a bitch because they’re nothing but nice and helpful. I just don’t want their help. I want my husband to step up and do the chores and to just be left alone to figure out how to be a mom.

They’re leaving tomorrow and my husband says he can ask them to leave first thing and I just can’t bring myself to kick them out. My parents visited earlier and they live in town so my mom was like ‘do you want us to leave so you can take a nap?’ And I just can’t with my in laws here. I feel like an awful person but I’d like them to get the hint that they need to go.
