Remember, all kids are different!

Its always fun to hear where other kids are developmentally at this stage, but we have to remember not to compare our littles or our parenting methods! All kid learn different things at different times.

My daughter for example, barely talks ... she says mom, dada, baba and duck. But thats about it. She doesnt make animal noises or anything like that. But she knows how to do other things. Like those shape balls when you put the shape into the hole? She can do all the shapes with relative ease. She will tske a shape and actually look for the correct hole before trying to put it in.

So I try not to worry. She might be almost 16 months with barely any words, sign language or sounds, but her brain is developing in other areas!
