Should we name our 3rd boy a jr. since we can’t come up with a name?

I was thinking the same thing as what she just commented. It might make the other boys feel a little weird as they get older. Like being named after someone else is a special thing so they may feel like they weren’t deserving of it or something. Maybe not though lol Only time I’ve seen Jr used was with either a first born son or only son.

I'm not saying yes or no. We had the same debate and I told my husband it might make our first feel weird about it later in life. We went back and forth on if it was a good idea or not for a while. I want apposed to it but I really wanted him to think about it. We wound up not doing it.

My husband is second born and he is the one named after family members. In my opinion, it is kind of weird. It was like a “well we were too tired to think of a name for you, so this is what you get” kind of thing. My husband and his brother are 14 months apart and my MIL always comments about how his life is a black blur because she just can’t remember his infant stages. My husband is also really not a fan of his name because it feels outdated. He has mentioned several times that he would never have named himself Bob.
