Unofficially Engaged

Darrian

My boyfriend of just under 2 years spilled the beans on a project he’s been working on since 6 months into our relationship. He’s trying to save up for and engagement ring! On our 6 month he asked me to marry him and I say I wanted to wait because he had already gone through a failed marriage just 2.5 years prior and I didn’t want him to feel rushed. On July 1st of this year we’ll have been together for 2 years. He and I agreed that his proposal in the tiny hallway of his house was kinda unofficial so he wanted to redo it. I am so excited about it but I’m trying to get ideas in mind about our agreed small ceremony. (His last one was big and I just want a small intimate one) His uncle, who was a major part of his life passed away just 5 months after we started dating and I want to find a way to incorporate him and our other departed family members into our wedding. This man has truly stolen my heart! As well as the beautiful brindle bull mastiff beside him! ❤️

take small bits of clothing belonging to the family members you have lost and sew it into your dress! my guard coach did that with memaws rainbow jumper! or you could put those pieces in your bouquet some how.

I did this idea too. My grandma has passed away a month before my wedding and my pop wasn’t there either. I had a piece of each of their favorite shirts sewn into a heart on the inside of my dress. Nobody knew about it but me, but I wanted them to be represented

I actually love this idea! I might wear my grandpa’s favorite western shirt as a jacket since I can’t wear it anymore
