Baby registry must haves?

I’m a FTM so I’m not really sure what the “must haves” for a newborn are! I just found out I’m having a baby boy so I’m starting my registry. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 😊😊

3rd time mama here. Place to sleep for baby be it crib or not, clothes to dress baby {also I say you NEED sleeper dresses even for a boy they're so much easier to change at night}, and food \ bottles for baby. 
Other things that are necessary are a car seat, diaper bag, and I say a swing is for sure. But that's cause both of my baby's loved their swings. And you'll need somewhere outside the bedroom to keep baby when you need your hands. I always had a bouncer for the bathroom for when I needed a shower or a poo and no one to help with the baby lol.

Honestly after preparing so much for my 1st I can tell you we would have been fine with a rock and play, and of course the essentials like bottles, diapers, wipes. He never slept in his nursery until he was about 9 months old, only because being a FTM I wanted him next to me all the time haha! He slept in our bedroom in his rock and play up until he was 6 months then I switched him to his pack and play. I'm just saying all the pinterest check lists I gathered my info from was a little excessive in my experience haha.

Most places you create a registry have a checklist and you can go through every category and mark off as you go. :) Target and Amazon for sure
