Does your January ‘18 baby still use a bottle?

My 14 month old (Jan 8) still uses her bottle, but only at nap/bed times or when we’re going on a long car ride (1+ hour). What about your baby?

I screwed up and used a bottle when the doctor said to use milk in a sippy. But he refuses cold milk and milk in a sippy regardless and now that he is starting to talk he wakes up and immediately says “baba? Mom baba?” So I’m going to have a really hard time breaking it... any suggestions????

We took the bottle away at 11 months but he had been drinking from a sippy cup starting at 6 months so he was already used to drinking from a cup. Now we are about to pull the pacifier. He only gets it at bedtime but he’s getting attached to it.

Same for us. I offer her a sippy cup daily and she just throws it and water or milk goes everywhere! So frustrating. The way I look at it is she won’t be taking bottle college, they all will eventually learn.

We introduced 360 cups and sippy cups at 6months. By 7 months he started refusing a bottle, and by 8 months was refusing a bottle everytime. January 10th 2018 for my baby.

I took away bottles completely right around 1 year. But I started using sippy cups and the 360 cups off and on starting around 5-6 months. 
He didn’t LOVE it at first, but now he doesn’t miss his bottles at all. And he only gets a pacifier at night and nap times because we’ve established a tooth brushing routine.

No more bottle for our LO (Jan 2). She was down to just a bedtime bottle about a month ago, but most toddlers don't really need the extra nutrition/milk before bedtime at this point, so it was becoming more of a comfort thing for her--which I really didn't want to turn into a bad habit that would be harder to break as time went on.

Well my Jan 15 baby had almost cut out the bottle when he got sick and we couldn’t give him any dairy so no bottles whatsoever. He was inconsolable a lot especially when he woke up at night and puked. 
Now he wants a bottle like usual - upon waking, around lunch/nap, once in the afternoon, before bed, and if he wakes up at night. He has several sippys and loves drinking from them but not milk. He will cry until he gets that bottle. And he will not go back to sleep at night without one even though he eats like a horse during the day so I know it’s just for comfort. 
Hoping we can wean down the bottles cause frankly I’m tired of hand washing them suckers all the time. One caveat for the sippys is he likes his milk warmed up not cold so even if you warm up the sippy he looks at you like what the hell is this. 🤣

We use before 2nd nap and bedtime only. We’ve tried to use other options, but it’s proving to be quite difficult. He definitely associates a bottle with milk, and won’t drink milk out of anything else.
He drinks his water fine out of a straw at home, and at daycare they give him water in a 360 degree cup.
Sigh..
