Wisdom teeth removal and breastfeeding!
So I am getting my wisdom teeth taken out at the end of June my baby will be 9 months at this point. I am working on pumping a stash of breastmilk so that I don't need to give formula when I'm out for the surgery. I called mother risk today which is the helpline that tells you what medication and such is and isn't safe when pregnant/breastfeeding.
They told me that it is safe to breastfeed once the anesthesia has worn off and I'm fully alert and awake. So they said if I get the surgery in the morning I could feed her again likely in the late afternoon.
That feels wayyy too soon but they are the experts right... what do you folks think??? Should I wait longer or listen to what they said?
