Idk If we are moving too fast

Ok so me and my boyfriend have been dating for 3 weeks but we had a thing a month prior (it just took him a while to ask me out) and we were talking last night about fucking and I got then good tingles all through my body and it was like a full conversation about how I would need to cover up cause once he's done with me I'll be marked which I really like cause it just gets me going and this was the first time we have spoken like this over text it's more like little jokes when we're together or I say something like 'Fuck me ' not intending it to be in the way he says but he replies like 'for sure babe' and it makes me feel real nice. I feel like I'm fully ready to lose it (cause he has already) but at the same time I feel like I want to wait a while and I have told him (while we were talking about fucking) that we should least do it after his birthday while is next month (April) and he's fine with it I just don't want to rush things cause we are so comfortable with each other and Idk if going to fast so I told him to wait even though I ready to go for it. So ladies how long should I wait?
