so if this isn’t what you would call an emergency but i have a huge problem and i have no idea what to do. so my best friend told me we were going to prom together, he didn’t even ask. but he bought me a ticket. well i agreed because, you know i didn’t expect to hit it off with anybody. but this past saturday i went on a date with this kid in my class and it went amazing. we are already talking about date #2 and i really like him. i’m worried that if he asks me to prom i’m gonna have to turn him down and i don’t want to do that because i would rather go with him than my best friend. i know that sounds crappy but i’ve just never been asked to hoco or ever even been to a prom so it’d be a first time. and who knows if we are even still together by next year. i guess i just need advice on what to do.
