Hep A Vaccine (question only for Vaxx Moms)

For moms that fully vaccinate their babies/kids did you get the Hep A vaccine? My son had his 15.5 month check up today and got his multi vaccine which had the dtap and now I’m blanking on the other two mixed in and then I was asked if I wanted to give him the help A. I said no to the Hep A just because he’s been so sick all winter as it’s his first winter at daycare so the last time we did multiple shots at once he was down for like a month. However the nurse said most parents decline the Hep A unless they’re planning to travel to another country.

Did you decline the Hep A and then either get it at a later point or are you doing what my nurse said and if you plan to travel you can get it for them?

Again if you don’t vaccinate your children this isn’t here for a to vaccinate or not to vaccinate debate. Thank you!
