Yesterday3/18/19, I went in for an ultrasound just to check Griffin’s size. Shortly into the ultrasound the tech looked at me and told me to head straight to labor and delivery, she couldn’t find Griffin’s heartbeat. Shortly after arriving at the hospital, it was confirmed that I had lost my son at 31 weeks 4 days. We don’t really have any answers as to what caused his death but we are looking at anything and everything for answers. I had a C-Section shortly after midnight, 3/19/19. I haven’t seen him yet but I was told he was 3lbs 4oz 16in has my nose and dark hair and absolutely beautiful. I know seeing him will hurt but I have to see and hold my son at least once. It’s been a rough 13 hours but it’s gonna be rough for a very long time for me. My heart is literally broken. Forever my precious little boy, I love you Griffin Chase. Rest in paradise, mommy will get to play with you one day. 💙
