Should I get my IUD taken out?
I’m having issues with ovarian cysts. Over the past three or four months, it’s gotten worse. It went from an ignorable pain in my stomach to a trip to the ER because I couldn’t function. My OBGYN says my IUD is likely the cause of my cysts. I love my IUD and the fact that it’s a very effective contraceptive and that my periods are almost nonexistent, but I’m not sure if these cysts are going to continue to be an issue or cause permanent damage.
